Universal Studios Orlando Vacation News: Two New Dining Experiences Now Open

Universal Studios Orlando Vacation News: Universal Studios Orlando has made two dining experiences open to the general public, and both are related to new attractions at the theme park.

Universal’s Superstar Character Breakfast features some participants from its Superstar Parade, which runs daily and including characters from “Hop,” “Despicable Me,” “Dora the Explorer” and “SpongeBob SquarePants.” The meal is served at the La Bamba restaurant within the theme park.

The breakfast includes early admission to attractions Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, which opened this month, and the neighboring Shrek 4-D.

The character breakfast price is $26.99 for adults, $10.99 for children. That’s in addition to theme-park admission.

Also available is Universal’s Cinematic Spectacular Dining Experience at the park’s Lombard’s Seafood Grill. After dinner, guests get a prime, reserved area to watch the lagoon show Cinematic Spectacular, which celebrates 100 years of Universal filmmaking.

The price is $44.99 for adults, $12.99 for children. That’s in addition to theme-park admission.

Reservations are required. Go to www.UniversalOrlando.com, then click on “dining” and go to “dining with characters.” After making the online purchase, you must call 407-224-7554 up to 24 hours before arriving to confirm.
